Fathers’ Day Breakfast 2 September

Our amazing P&F mums got up bright and early on Monday September 2 to help us all celebrate Fathers’ Day. They made delicious food to feed many eager mouths. The staff were thrilled by the excellent turnout and we would love to thank the P&F for helping us acknowledge the wonderful men in our students’ lives.

Fathers’ Night at Kindy

We hope our dads, mums and visitors had a great Father’s Day celebration at Kindy on 28 August.

It was so exciting to bring our adults to Kindy at nighttime! We painted their hands, made kebabs and showed our visitors our beautiful classroom. The highlight of the evening was when our visitors helped re-enact “No Kisses for Daddy” by Frances Watts. They did such a good job! We also sang some lovely songs and presented them with a medal for being Super. It was a fabulous night.

Celebrating Fathers’ Day at Pre-Primary

Our beautiful Pre-Primary students invited their father-figures to celebrate Fathers’ Day on Friday 30 August. There were many, many smiles as our little people “shaved”, drew and raced their guests. Lots of fun was had by all.

Parish Celebration 8 September

On Sunday 8 September, St Matthew’s Parish held a special parish Mass for the Feast of St Matthew. We welcomed new parishioners to the parish and gathered together for a lovely lunch. We had a wonderful turn out and I would like to thank all of the St Matthew’s School families who volunteered their time to help make this a very special celebration.

Congratulations, Meka!

On Saturday 31 August, members of our school community were thrilled to attend Meka McCormack’s beautiful wedding. We all wish her the very best for her future endeavours with her new husband, Justin.
