Faction Swimming Carnival

The annual Faction Swimming Carnival was held at Narrogin Leisure Centre on Friday 17 March, for students in Years 3 to 6. A huge thank you must go to all the parent volunteers who gave up their time to make it an especially memorable day for the students. The day was filled with deafening cheering as the children encouraged their team mates in the water. The Spirit Trophy was awarded to Gibney for their organisation and sportsmanship on the day. This year McFall took the overall win.

Harmony Day

St Matthew’s School celebrated Harmony Day on Wednesday 22 March, a beautiful acknowledgement of the many cultures at our diverse school. Students participated in many different activities throughout the day, and we shared in a “Parade of Nations” assembly. A special thank you to Mrs Maartens, Mrs Grieve and Mrs Dyke for planning this lovely day, and to all of our parents who attended.

Narrogin Festival of Soccer

An awesome turnout at the Narrogin Festival of Soccer on Saturday 18 March saw St Matthew’s School students from all ages enjoy the World Game.
Our Under 12’s Boys and Girls played against seasoned Collie Power sides and both earned respectable 1-1 draws (Celine and Louis with the goals).
Thank you to the P&F for running the food stall and for all the volunteers and helpers on the day.
