Book Week 2022
St Matthew’s celebrated Book Week from Monday 22 August. The highlight of the week was a fabulous book character dress-up day. This year, prizes were awarded for :

P&F Fathers’ Day Breakfast
Our amazing P&F mums got up bright and early on a very foggy Monday morning to help us all celebrate Fathers’ Day. They made delicious bacon and egg rolls and wraps to feed many eager mouths. The staff were thrilled by the excellent turnout and we would love to thank the P&F for helping us acknowledge the wonderful men in our students’ lives.
Father’s Night at Kindy
We hope our dads, grandads and visitors had a great Father’s Day celebration at Kindy last Wednesday night.
It was so exciting to bring Dad to Kindy at nighttime! We painted dad’s hands, made fruit kebabs, planted seedlings and constructed with wood. We sang some songs and presented dad with a medal for being a Super Dad. It was a fabulous night.

Athletics Carnivals
A huge thank you to all of the parents who volunteered at these carnivals. Whether you sold cakes, organised lunches, timed runners, measured jumps or just cheered for your child, we truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making both of these days successful.
