Robots

In Arts Afternoon, the new Robotics group began their projects.  Senior students are beginning to build Mindstorm Robots.  The middle primary students will assist with the robots, but will also have opportunities to work with Spheros and Beebots.  The junior primary students will navigate mazes with Beebots by writing code.

Honour Certificates

Congratulations to all of our Honour Certificate recipients. Individual photos of these beautiful people have been shared with families through Seesaw.

Reconciliation Week in Pre-Primary

The Pre-Primaries read the Dreamtime story, The Echidna and the Shade Tree. They then made salt dough animals, spears or the shade tree. The Pre-Primaries decorated their creations with dots to resemble the Aboriginal dot painting style.

Mrs Adele Maartens

In Culture, the Pre-Primary students decorated footprints and we placed these around the Aboriginal Flag to show how we all ‘walk together’ towards cultural unity. The students also published their very own big book, Why the Emu does not Fly. This book can be found and read in the Pre-Primary class.
