St Matthew’s School Narrogin

School Vision

St Matthew’s School empowers children to embrace life-long learning and grow and develop as God intends.

Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next

Amen.

Dear Parents and Carers

Congratulations to all our merit award winners who were announced at last Friday’s assembly.

It is lovely to celebrate all the wonderful achievements of our students.

Christmas Hamper Appeal – St Vincent de Paul

The gift of giving at Christmas time helps us to provide food or gifts to those less fortunate.  A Christmas tree has been set up in the undercover area at school. Please send in either nonperishable food items, or a gift for a child, to place in the baskets under the tree. These items will be donated to St Vincent de Paul at our Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday 11 December. A big thank you to Sr Sahaya for organizing this appeal.

Year 1 & 2 Prayer Service

Students from Years 1 & 2 recently celebrated with a prayer service in the Year 1 classroom. Children in these classes sang songs about love and heard prayers about forgiveness and saying sorry. It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents attend. A big thank you to Miss Evans for organizing this service.
