Year 1 Performance Assembly

On 23 August, our beautiful Year 1 students entertained us with an assembly item all about their excursion to “Young Miss Lock’s” farm. They did a fantastic job.

 

 

 

Book Week Dress-Up 

On Tuesday, 13 August, we celebrated Book Week  by holding a whole school dress-up day. Children were invited to dress as their favourite book characters. 

Thank you to the parents that supported this by helping with costumes and/or attending the parade. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Kindy Olympics

Our gorgeous Kindy kids paraded through our school last week to celebrate their Kindy Olympics. They waved their flags proudly and represented their countries beautifully.

 

One Big Voice

Congratulations to our talented choir students who performed at the One Big Voice concert at the RAC Arena on Thursday night (22 August). This was an amazing experience and I feel very fortunate that I was able to attend. A huge thank you to Miss McCormack and Mrs Moulton for preparing our beautiful students and attending the excursion.

 

 

Year 4 and Year 5 Dryandra Excursion

On Friday August 23, the Year 4 and 5 classes enjoyed a fantastic day at Dryandra! The students learnt about the precious creatures being nurtured and rehabilitated in the bush that surrounded us by the brilliantly knowledgeable Maria Lee! Maria also talked about and showed us the different flora we could find and we appreciated her time in sharing her expertise.

 

 

MJR Awards

Our Year 6 students present a Making Jesus Real Award at each assembly. Congratulations to  Theo (Yr 2) for being this week’s recipient for always using his manners.

 

 

 

Art Awards

The Art Award for Week 6 went to Nikita (Yr 4) for the candy popart inspired by Andy Warhol. Congratulations, Nikita!
