Talent Show

On Wednesday 25 October, we celebrated the wonderful gifts and talents of our Pre-Primary to Year 6 students by holding  ‘St Matthew’s Got Talent’. Students danced, sang, told riddles, performed magic tricks, displayed gymnastic skills and even demonstrated whip-cracking tricks. It was a wonderful display and all of the students, staff, and parents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Photos will be included in the Week 6.

Year 1 & 2 Fire Incursion

In Health, the Year 1 and Year 2 students are learning about fire safety. Last Friday the students were very lucky to have Mr Halford visit St Matthew’s with a fire engine. Children learned about preparing for an emergency, the different types of fire safety equipment and were even able to “drive” the fire engine. Thank you Mr Halford!
