Scholastic Book Fair

Thank all of the wonderful parent volunteers that helped with the Book Fair in Week 8 – Alex Wray, Lauren Clarke, Mel Noakes, Carmel McKenzie, Kylie Turton, Kimberley Williams, Claire Coffey, Zeta O’Rourke, Caryn Tenney, Jane Davis and Albin Mathew. We also thank all of our families that purchased items. The money raised from this goes towards new resources for the Library and the Lexile Reading Program.

Neurodiversity Parent Information Session

I would like to sincerely thank all of the parents and staff who attended the parent information session on 1 June. I would also like to thank our amazing presenters who willingly gave up their time to help us learn more about neurodiversity.

Sensorium Theatre’s WHOOSH!

“Calling all budding astronauts!” A group of St Matthew’s students hopped aboard the WHOOSH Spaceship and embarked on a journey to outer space. During this journey, our children became pilots, engineers, and navigators as they whooshed across space. All students who participated had a wonderful time, as they were treated to an interactive multi-sensory adventure. The whole experience was highly engaging and enjoyable, particularly watching the connection between our children and the artists.

Winter Carnival

This year’s Winter Carnival was another sporting success for St Matthew’s. Our students showed great sportsmanship and strong team spirit throughout the day. We are super proud of all our competitors. This year St Matthew’s won a Soccer, Hockey, and Football shield. Congratulations to all on another great sporting achievement for our school community. A big thank you to all our parents who assisted on the day!

Honour Certificates

Congratulations to all of our Honour Certificate recipients. Well Done!

The Art Award for Week 9 went to Angelina (Year 4) for her beautiful Monet-inspired painting.  Congratulations, Angelina.
