BillyBob and the Spitfires
The St Matthew’s School Band, BillyBob and the Spitfires, made their debut performance on Wednesday, 10 August. With Samantha and Louis on vocals; Miley and Mia F playing keyboards; AJ, Adam and Evan on guitars; and Courtney on drums, they performed an exciting repertoire of songs for staff, students and very proud parents. A huge thank you and congratulations to Mrs Hastie for bringing it all together; and an extra thank you to Mr Hastie for acting as sound engineer.
Year 2 Assembly
Our beautiful Year 2 students tugged at all our heartstrings as they reminded us of our responsibility to “Heal the World” at Week 4’s assembly. It was a very moving performance and they should all be very proud of themselves. Congratulations, Mrs Dyke, Mrs Tenney and our talented Year 2’s.
VacSwim
Enrolments are now open for VacSwim swimming lessons during the summer school holidays. VacSwim offers fun lessons at beach or pool locations. They are a great school holiday activity and they teach valuable safety skills to help keep your child safe in the water. Enrol at education.wa.edu.au/vacswim
