St Matthew’s School Narrogin

St Matthew’s Feast Day Celebrations 24 September

On the last day of Term 3, children eagerly participated in activities to celebrate St Matthew’s Feast Day. The day commenced with a whole-school Mass. We were then thoroughly entertained by students performing their gifts and talents as part of ‘St Matthew’s Got Talent’. The day ended with a brilliant performance by the school band. It was a wonderful way to end the term.

Narrogin Show

A huge thank you to Mrs DÁlton, Mrs Kilpatrick, Mrs Pederick and Mrs Lange who all gave up their free-time to put up our display for the Narrogin Show. It looked amazing! The show is such a great opportunity for us to demonstrate to the community the fantastic activities we do at St Matt’s.

A big thank you also to Mrs Quartermaine, Mrs Maartens and Mr Tenney who came along on Saturday afternoon to help pull down. I think you would agree with me that we are so lucky to have such dedicated teachers.

I would also like to thank Madi (Year 6), Nicole (Year 6), Darcy (PP) and Zoe (Year 6) who worked very hard to produce a wonderful bee hotel for our garden. Thank you – awesome effort!

QCE Award

On Friday morning, Mr Mark Tenney and I attended the Quality Catholic Education Award Breakfast. It was so interesting to see what other schools have been up to this year. It really did make me feel very proud to be part of a system that is continually reinventing itself in the best interests of its students. I invite all of our parents to pop on to the CEWA website to look at the winners. You can also see Mr Tenney and Mrs Graham’s winning performance in our promotional video.
